Pennycuick Collins was created on the 1st July 2001 by combining the former practices of Pennycuick Brown Perry & Deakin and Collins Son & Harvey, both long established and respected Chartered Surveying Practices with a reputation for professional and personal service.

Due to the above acquisitions, the company had possibly the longest name in the industry, known as Pennycuick Collins Perry & Deakin incorporating Cartwight Newman & Nock. However, we eventually shortened the name to Pennycuick Collins.

Pennycuick Collins is now a multi-faceted practice combining the best aspects from all firms.

Following this growth, the company moved from Washwood Heath to Broad Street, Birmingham. The company occupied multiple floors at our office on Broad Street and with further growth and big plans for the future meant we would soon need to relocate. In 2015, we relocated to our current office at 54 Hagley Road where our success has continued.

Our most recent mergers were with Cosnett Price and the Mainstay Commercial portfolio coming into management which strengthened our commercial practice.

Our lettings team were also bolstered by winning the management of a large Birmingham City Centre student development – Bristol Street Student Accommodation

Our Building Consultancy and Block management teams also continue to expand, and our building surveyors quickly became experts in cladding in high rise residential buildings. Pennycuick Collins continues to grow and adapt in an ever-changing industry.
